Good outing by Chatty. He is looking to be a big plus for the rotation this year. Also good first outing by Kimbril. Ryan & McGill also continue to have good springs. Ian Miller continues to impress. Rossy may have to decide if he is going to carry three catchers this year or carry Miller as a guy who can play multiple outfield positions and has what the the Cubs direly need..... Speed!

Speed is always good even though stolen bases is what it used to be...The days of Rickey Henderson and Vince Coleman stealing close to 100 bases is not really something that is prioritized by teams I guess anymore.

Probably to do with 100 mph fastballs and its just hard to get a good jump anymore.

I'm big on manufacturing runs (with small ball) and speed is an important factor as well as good baserunning.
